Milton Rogovin Mural Series

“It’s great to see the images in public; where they’re meant to be”

-Milton Rogovin

A public art series installing large-scale reproductions of Milton Rogovin’s portraits in the Buffalo neighborhoods where they were originally taken. By returning the images to their points of origin, the project reconnects Rogovin’s work to the communities it documented and asks what it means to be seen — again, and in context.
