Press in the Flesh

This project traces the human infrastructure behind a local newspaper, from editors and cartoonists to press operators and delivery drivers. Each portrait was printed over a collage made from the paper’s own pages, fusing the workers’ identities with the product they helped create. It’s a subtle meditation on authorship, labor, and the overlooked hands that keep institutions alive.
